The world of mind readers, the paranormal and psychics is one which has divided us for as long as it has intrigued us.
If a stranger told you who your favourite teacher was, how would you feel? If he also knew what lottery numbers you’d choose, what would you think?
In its most contemporary sense, Philip Escoffey is a mind reader. He mingles with your guests, talking and listening. Then he reads their minds. He has spent ten years travelling the world, leaving the rich and the royal intrigued and often embarrassingly clingy.
Philip Escoffey was an expert on “Britain’s Psychic Challenge” and presented, as well as co-wrote, the magic game show “Impossible?” for Channel 5. He has enjoyed sell-out shows with “6 Impossible Things Before Dinner” and “6 More Impossible Things Before Dinner” during month-long seasons at Sydney Opera House, The Edinburgh Fringe and The Melbourne International Comedy Festivals. In 2012, he returns to Sydney Opera House to perform in “The Illusionists”.
