BP: How would you describe what you do? Is it magic or illusion? Is it psychology? Is it mind manipulation? PE: In effect you’re asking how the grey man does what he does. Is he psychic, does he cheat, does he influence or does he hypnotise? That is for the audience to decide. What they believe is far more interesting to me than the truth. BP: Onto psychics and mediums. Knowing what you know, and the techniques you employ during your shows, do you believe that there is any such thing as true psychic ability? PE: Perhaps. I have a very personal belief, but as I say, why others believe what they do is far more interesting to me than the truth.
