in deciding what isn’t acceptable. The knock on effects
are often unpredictable, significant and irreversible.
I can’t prove to you that people, who believe in
Geller’s abilities, don’t benefit in some way.
The power of unconditional belief is clearly one of the
most
powerful thought patterns that exists. As I said before,
why people believe is often more enlightening that what
they believe.
BP: When you watch shows like John
Edward Crossing Over or Colin Fry Sixth Sense, do you find
it easy to spot the
techniques they are using, and does it amaze you that so
many people can be taken in by it all?
PE: Yes, I spot the techniques
because they are tools that my work makes me familiar with.
To be surprised that people get taken in is to not know
